Spring Skiing At Mt Buller and Breathtaker
As I write this newsletter Mt Buller has an impressive 90cm of snow in the man made areas with a good base to take us in to spring skiing at Mt Buller. When a good cover of snow is on the ground there is no better time to come to Mt Buller than spring. Bright sunny day’s, reduced accommodation rates and higher temperatures makes for an attractive quick getaway or extended family holiday.

Kids’ (Families) at Breathtaker
We mention on our website we are the most kid/family friendly hotel on Mt Buller however I thought I might just run through the highlights. Breathtaker works from the model “if the kids are happy the parents are happy” offering many options including the following. Free kids’ bean bag movie zone in the loft, free kids’ playstation zone, free kids playroom and free kids movie channel in each room. Just as important is a kids’ menu’s in the restaurant and bar, the old favourites are there however we also have the family home cooked options so its not always chips and nuggets.

The “Tomahawk” Steak @ Signature
The tomahawk is one of the largest rib eye steaks in Australia, weighing between 900 & 1300 grams, & takes its name from the 30 centimetres of rib bone that is left on the meat.
Due to the size of the tomahawk steak the cooking time can be up to 45 minutes. Therefore we suggest ordering in advance.
Served on a bed of mash with a homemade jus. The tomahawk steak will easily feed two. Sides available.
